Thrift Meets Fashion

Our vision is to encourage and inspire sustainable fashion by shopping second hand. We want to minimize the textile waste going into landfills. We wanted to create a fun way to get our community invovled and raise awareness of textile waste.

What better way than a thrift fashion show! We focused on the concepts of: Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle. Our fashion show was designed off the donations receieved from our community. Each model created their own outfit from their own personality styles. We wanted a night to uplift and celebrate the diversity in all women, in all shapes and sizes. What better way to celebrate with a diverse fashion show, henna, hair braiding, photo booth, shopping, music, snacks, and beer.
